Just a quick note to let you know I am here and I am working! Even if I’m not blogging, I’m working on the site. Unfortunately it’s mostly behind the scenes right now, but I did take some photos today and turn them into Photoshop brushes for you. It’s been a very long time since I’ve made anything, especially brushes, so they may not be the best. But let me know what you think. Let me know if there’s anything you think I should improve on. I made them pretty big so you could use them for whatever you want because it looks like Photoshop will let you resize it. As usual, don’t download unless you intend to give credit and a link back.
Download Grunge Set 1 for Photoshop
I also uploaded all the old brushes I could find. I don’t know what they look like anymore or what they’ll work in, but I listed the date next to them so you can see how old they are. I tried the Photoshop Blinkie Blocks and they really suck. But they work. And the PSP brushes should work in the older versions. I’m not sure how PSP brushes work anymore, but I’ll be working on how to make them so I can offer them, too. Enjoy!

Now, that’s really neat. I never thought to take a photo of something and make brushes out of it. How creative
I use PSP 11 and making brushes is pretty easy. I usually find an image on a white background. Then you click File>Export>Custom Brush and save it as the file name you want
Awesome. Thanks.
I have 11 on another computer but it’s so different. Wonder if 9 and 11 work the same for brushes?
Hey there.
Would you really code a layout for me?
That’d be a HUGE help! And I’d love you forver! Noone else is really entering my comp. I guess that’s because I don’t know enough people.
I should get out there! (To the internet..)
I tried to find a contact link to just email you or send a contact form or something, but I am rather blind. There is one in the footer, but it’s not linked to anything.
If you really are interested in coding a theme for me, could you please email me? jana@blueragedesigns.net. Just telling me what info etc you would need? Thanks heaps.
WTF Jana.. LOL I hate blog comments that are totally unrelated. Anyway I think it’s cool about the brushes.. I remember back in the day when you had a bunch of brushes! I was wondering where you were though.. You haven’t been very talkative as of late.
Oh wow! That is a really cool tutorial. But I dont think I can do it on GIMP. I use silly old gimp y’see!
But I must say that it is a wonderful tutorial!
@Kate: I’ll see what I can do about adding some stuff for Gimp. Meanwhile, here’s some brushes I just found you might like.
